I’m scared. Really scared. Moving out of my comfort zone and into a new office space is a huge move for Graphika this year. I’m still trying to get used to what all the articles keep saying about “getting comfortable with being uncomfortable.”
My motto has always been if something is worth taking the risk for then it’s worth the challenges that come with it. So I’m taking a calculated risk with Graphika this year and just running with it!
I’m not taking this move lightly. I’ve worked way too hard to just take the risk without careful consideration. I’ve been taught resilience (thanks to my parents), and with the ability to bounce back, timing is everything and there is no better time than now.
No matter how calculated it is, you can never be sure that a risk will pay off, however, there is only one way to find out. As Frederick Wilcox said, “Progress always involves risks. You can’t steal second base and keep your foot on first.”
My thoughts are you have either got to believe you can make a difference with your business or you are probably not the right person to be doing it. After all, only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far it is possible to go - and I’m willing to find out!
